AEFP December Open Lecture

BEDFORD – A TOWN FOR LEARNING

An invitation to a Christmas open lecture

With Dr Tony Breslin

to be held at the Gateway Building, University of Bedfordshire, Polhill Campus

On Wednesday 14th December 2016

from 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm

An interactive lecture with wine, refreshments and networking

What would it mean to bring together families, nurseries, schools, colleges, libraries, adult education, universities and all other civic spaces, and turn a whole town into a place for life-long learning?

What if, rather than discussing the weather, conversations were to start with – ‘What are you learning about at the moment?

Is this realistic?  Dr Tony Breslin thinks it is and he is the guest at this term’s open lecture.

Those wishing to read his report beforehand can download it at https://www.thersa.org/discover/publications-and-articles/reports/a-place-for-learning
